The Ghana Education Service, GES in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, MoE recently lifted the ban on co-curricular activities especially sports and games for both Senior High schools and primary schools across the country.
This brought some kind of joy to both teachers and students as sports and games is one of the key area of interest in school communities.
Though the ban is lifted on sports and games but this came not without condition. The condition is; no vaccination, no participation.
Before both students and officials can take part in such events, it is mandatory for all to vaccinate against the COVID-19 pandemic. This information was contained in an audio announcement of a district sports executives to all schools within that district.
According to officials, this condition is to follow standard protocols to protect participants from COVID-19 and further control spread of the virus during such event
